Arsenal will be determined to extend their winning streak when they face Bayern Munich. The Gunners will welcome Thomas Tuchel’s side to the Emirates Stadium on Tuesday night for the Champions League quarterfinal first leg.
Mikel Arteta’s side enjoyed a 3-0 win over Brighton at the Amex Stadium on Saturday afternoon; meanwhile, the Bavarians head into the fixture following a disastrous 3-2 defeat on the road to Heidenheim. Bayern Munich have lost back-to-back games in the Bundesliga and Tuchel appears to be under immense pressure.

Bukayo Saka
After missing the clash against Luton Town, Saka was back in the starting lineup for the trip to Brighton. Upon his return, the 22-year-old winger scored to give his side the lead before he was subbed off shortly after the hour mark.

Gabriel Magalhaes
Just before half time, Gabriel Magalhaes went down after Danny Welbeck followed through when trying to block a clearance. The Brazil international was seen to by Arsenal’s physios before carrying on and completing the full 90 minutes.

Jurrien Timber
The defender has been recovering from an anterior cruciate ligament injury he suffered back in August during the Premier League clash against Nottingham Forest. His only other appearance came in the Community Shield against Manchester City.
Timber has been in team training since before the recent international break. Despite Arteta’s hope he will play again this season, he was not in the squad to face Brighton.

What Arteta has said: “He’s doing very well. He’s back training, he’s not far off, the thing is that last step, he hasn’t played any minutes. Does he need a game with the Under-21s? Does he need two games?
He’s constantly training with us to see how long that’s going to take him in that last part which is tricky and sometimes takes a while. Hopefully [he’s back] as quick as possible.
“I think he’s got a good chance [of playing again this season]. I don’t know a percentage but he’s got a good chance and he’s going to push it as far as he can.”
